I think i have gained too much weight early in pregnancy?

I am currently at 18 weeks and 4 days and i steped on the scale on friday to find i had already gained 21 pounds. I feel like a cow!!! I am not really eating out of the norm, well with this last halloween weekend that wasnt normal eating, but normally i try to hit right around 2300 calories like my doctor tells me too. I just dont understand where this weight is coming from and what my total weight gain might end up being?! I am very nervous that i will be unattractive and just plain fat after pregnancy. My husband is awesome and tells me i look great all the time, but then i take it out on him always complaining and telling him i eat too much. I dont know what to do. I am so worried becuase i have battled with my weight my whole life and these past almost 2 years now i havent had to worry about weight and i just dont want to be fat agian.

That weight gain is perfectly normal. Please don't starve yourself and eat properly or you could harm the baby. you WILL gain a few pounds after you deliver but you could easily lose those cause you sound like you have the necessary discipline to do that. good luck =)
